The program aims to help people better manage stressful stimuli and various manifestations of long-term stress, such as anxiety, depression and exhaustion. In addition to reducing “stress”, which is understood to mean the various forms of hardship we experience in life, developing mindfulness leads to a greater understanding of oneself and others, to greater satisfaction and joy, perspective and freedom, freedom from fear and clinging, and discovering one’s true nature, which is openness, compassion, trust and kindness.

About us

I teach 8-week mindfulness courses (MBSR and MBCL, Mindfulness-Based Compassionate Living) and lead weekend or multi-day meditation retreats. For me, meditation is a path to myself, a path to others, and a path to wonder at the miracle of life. In addition to teaching, I also translate, including books on mindfulness and meditation. I work as an instructor at the Lipnice Holiday School. I studied philosophy and religious studies at the Faculty of Arts, Charles University in Prague, where I am continuing my doctoral studies in religious studies.

For me, mindfulness basically means a sense of security and the experience that everything is fine the way it is right now.
I have completed a series of Mindfulness based stress reduction (MBSR) and Interpersonal mindfulness program (IMP – focused on communication) courses with Czech and foreign lecturers (Michal Dvořák, Šimon Grimmich, Amir Imani, Rene Ryorin Slikker, Lot Heijke, Elise Jansen Ingrid van den Hout, Wolfgang Schroder, etc.). I have completed MBSR teacher training in Germany. I regularly return to the Bódhi Zendo meditation center in India, where I devote myself to a more intensive practice of Zen meditation. I currently teach MBSR courses and other mindfulness courses at Seznam.cz.
